LG Uplus to help bridge digital divide for multicultural families, single-person households
LG Uplus will work with the Korea Institute for Healthy Family to strengthen digital capabilities for digitally vulnerable groups, including multicultural families and single-person households. The company said it signed an MOU to expand digital education programmes run at some family centres this year to a nationwide level. The partners will offer smartphone and AI training, fraud-prevention education and other programmes, and provide equipment such as smart TVs and laptops.

The company plans to expand production and live coverage of major domestic swimming and finswimming meets this year, scheduling more than 20 events. SOOP held its own event, SOOP Swim Fest 2026, in June at Daebudo Welfare Sports Center under an MOU project with the Ansan City Swimming Federation.
