Krafton says \'Age Twister\' nominated for Gamescom Awards 2026
Krafton said on Aug. 25 that \'Age Twister\', a new title being developed by Piccolo Studio, has been nominated in the Most Wholesome category at the Gamescom Awards 2026. The award is selected from Gamescom entries by category. Winners in the Most Wholesome category are decided by combining judges’ evaluations and a Gamescom community vote, with results due on Aug. 28.

Krafton seeks next IP with PUBG and Subnautica as twin pillars after record results
Krafton posted record results for the second quarter and first half, driven by expanding users and revenue for the PUBG franchise and early success for Subnautica 2. The company plans to unveil five new games at Gamescom in August and broaden AI research beyond games to physical AI. Krafton Q2 operating profit up 67 percent to 410.9 billion won
Krafton said on Tuesday it posted second-quarter consolidated revenue of 1.29 trillion won and operating profit of 410.9 billion won. Revenue and operating profit jumped 94.9 percent and 67 percent from a year earlier, marking the company’s best-ever second quarter. First-half revenue rose to 2.66 trillion won and operating profit to 972.5 billion won. Growth was led by PC and console platforms, while mobile titles maintained steady momentum.
