Krafton said on Tuesday it posted second-quarter consolidated revenue of 1.29 trillion won and operating profit of 410.9 billion won.

The results marked jumps of 94.9 percent in revenue and 67 percent in operating profit from a year earlier, the company’s best-ever second quarter. On the back of the strong performance, first-half revenue rose to 2.66 trillion won and operating profit to 972.5 billion won, also setting record highs for the period.

Second-quarter growth was led by PC and console platforms. PC platform revenue topped 500 billion won for the first time in a quarter. Subnautica 2, which launched in early access in May, surpassed cumulative sales of 5 million units in 22 days, lifting results. Strong in-game modes for PUBG: Battlegrounds, including Genopoint and PAYDAY, and well-received collaboration content for Stellar Blade also contributed.

The console platform also showed steep growth, with second-quarter revenue surging 143 percent from a year earlier on the success of Subnautica 2.

On mobile, Battlegrounds Mobile and Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) maintained steady growth. In particular, the launch of the new X-Suit, Phoenixtra, set a record for daily revenue, supporting mobile results.

Krafton will expand gameplay for Battlegrounds, its key IP, and accelerate its platform strategy in the second half. In PC, it will pursue collaboration with a global animation IP following tie-ups with automobiles and K-pop. In mobile, it plans to upgrade creation tools to strengthen an in-game user-generated content ecosystem and introduce a new currency, the WOW token, to broaden the creator reward structure.

It will also unveil 5 new titles for the first time at Gamescom 2026 in Germany in August to secure next-generation growth drivers. The company plans to put a major lineup to market tests in sequence, targeting launches by 2027, including a new project based on the Battlegrounds IP, as well as NO LAW, Project Zeta, Age Twister and Tare: Unbound.
