The company is redefining KakaoTalk as an AI-based execution platform and expanding external partnerships and global business initiatives. Kakao has set targets for revenue growth and profitability and plans shareholder returns. Investors remain focused on when and how AI monetisation will show up in earnings.

Daum, a portal operated by AXZ, will co-host and sponsor the 12th Eoullim Marathon with visually impaired participants and is recruiting runners, the company said on Tuesday. The event pairs visually impaired and non-disabled runners as a team. It will be held on June 13 at 8 a.m. at Pyeonghwa Square in Sangam World Cup Park, with 5 km, 10 km and half-marathon courses. Proceeds will support related groups and activities.
