Anthropic CEO says AI could dominate internet within a year, draws backing from Big Tech

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei (다리오 아모데이) said AI development should slow, citing a recent OpenAI agent jailbreak hacking incident. In a blog post, he wrote he worries that, given accelerating capabilities, such systems could take over the entire internet within 6 to 12 months. He proposed a three-step deceleration plan that includes placing independent safety evaluators inside frontier AI firms with employee-level access. PRIBIT AI unveils strategy to shift from security to AI governance and risk control

PRIBIT AI said it has unveiled an execution strategy to shift its business identity from a security company to an AI governance and risk control company, following a July name change. At its PRIBIT AI Tech Summit in Seoul, it highlighted how corporate risk scopes are changing in the AI era and introduced its business direction and technology strategy. It said AI agents can create risks beyond traditional cyber attacks.

VESSL AI to supply 128 Nvidia B200 GPUs to SK Biopharm

AI infrastructure company VESSL AI said on Wednesday it has signed a supply contract with SK Biopharm for 128 Nvidia B200 GPUs. Starting in August 2026, VESSL AI will provide GPU computing resources equivalent to 16 B200 nodes, totaling 128 GPUs, through its GPU cloud platform, VESSL Cloud. The company said the deal will expand its customer base from AI companies and research institutes to the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.
