Private AI launches Pangyo AI research center, steps up cooperation with KT

Private AI said on Wednesday it has moved into the "KT Open Innovation Center" and officially launched the Pangyo AI research center.

Private AI will use the Pangyo AI research center as a key base for AI technology research and service upgrades. The center will conduct research focused on non-human identity (NHI) access management, including AI agents and service accounts, controlling data flows between AI and enterprise assets, and AI execution policies and operating governance.

Private AI is developing technology that can securely connect internal corporate data and systems to AI and manage AI permissions and execution processes in line with corporate policies. It plans to use the move to strengthen technical and business cooperation with KT and expand its AI research capabilities.

It plans to broaden cooperation by combining KT's telecommunications, cloud and AI infrastructure and business capabilities with Private AI's Zero Trust-based access control technology.

Private AI CEO Young-rang Kim (김영랑) said the Pangyo AI research center would become a core base for research into technology that enables AI to use corporate data and systems securely and operate according to set standards. She said the company would build a cooperation model that implements a trusted AI operating environment in real industrial settings, based on technical exchanges with KT, and leads to joint business.
