ITCEN Global chairman Kang Jin-mo buys 6,190 shares, citing commitment to responsible management

ITCEN Global said on Monday that its chief executive and chairman, Kang Jin-mo (강진모), bought 6,190 shares on the open market worth about 140 million won, citing a view that the current share price does not fully reflect intrinsic value. The company said Kang sought to share performance gains from higher corporate value with shareholders. ITCEN Global reported first-half consolidated revenue of 5.58 trillion won, with operating profit and net profit rising.

OpenAI shares case of automating software maintenance using GPT-6

OpenAI has disclosed on its blog how it automated internal software maintenance using its coding agent Codex and GPT-6 family models. The company assigned GPT-6 Astra to identify and remove unused code by reviewing pull requests, Slack conversations and internal records. Engineers merged more than 1,400 pull requests and deleted over 800,000 lines of code. OpenAI also used Astra to clean up old experiments and feature flags, and tested cheaper GPT-6.1 Sol for similar tasks.

U.S. EV average transaction price rises in September, discounts hit year low

Average transaction prices for electric vehicles in the United States rose again in September while manufacturer discount incentives fell to their lowest level this year. Kelley Blue Book data showed the average new EV transaction price rose 2.4 percent from the prior month’s revised figure, though it was 3 percent lower than a year earlier. The price gap with internal-combustion vehicles narrowed, but incentives declined.
