Harman, a unit of Samsung Electronics, said it launched Harman Ready StreamShare on Jan. 14. The in-car audio and communications solution allows up to four passengers to listen to separate media streams while enabling hands-free conversation. It uses a central Bluetooth hub supporting four personalised media zones, an ultra-low-latency wireless streaming technology and a driver announcement function that can pause all active streams. The system can be expanded with child support and other features.

South Korea's Broadcasting Media Communications Commission said on Jan. 14 it has launched a fact-finding probe into telecom service provider SK Telink over allegations it concluded international calling service contracts without clearly confirming users' intentions. The regulator previously inspected complaints involving the All Pass and All Together plans and found potential violations of prohibited acts under the Telecommunications Business Act. SK Telink is proceeding with cancellations and full refunds for subscribers with no usage history.
