Social NFT platform Rodeo will shut down after NFT marketplace Nifty Gateway said it would end its service, Cointelegraph reported on Tuesday. Rodeo, launched via Apple’s iOS store in March 2025, focused on creator rewards rather than simple trading. CEO and co-founder Kavon Tehranian said the platform did not secure enough scalability and was unlikely to be sustainable. Rodeo plans tools for users to migrate assets and data before closing fully on March 10.

UK bans Coinbase ad that ignored crypto risks
Coinbase faced action from British regulators after running an advertisement that mocked the UK's economic decline, Cointelegraph reported on Jan. 28. The Advertising Standards Authority banned the ad, saying it trivialised financial difficulties and treated cryptocurrency as an easy solution while downplaying investment risks. The campaign was banned from TV but continued to appear online and on posters in high-traffic areas including the London Underground and train stations.
