Dunamu has introduced guidance to help users more easily use Upbit API functions through artificial intelligence (AI) agents.
Dunamu, which operates the Upbit digital asset exchange, said on Thursday it has launched "Upbit Skills" to support the use of Upbit API-based command-line interface (CLI) functions by giving AI instructions in natural language.
Upbit Skills is a collection of reference guidance and resources that can be used in AI coding agent environments that support skills, such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex.
It helps AI agents carry out various tasks, such as price queries, balance checks, orders, and deposit and withdrawal lookups, by referring to how to use the Upbit CLI.
This allows users to handle complex API command building or applying exchange-specific rules more easily through natural language.
For example, in a skills-enabled AI agent environment, if a user enters prompts such as "Check the current price of KRW-BTC," "Check my Upbit balance" or "Create a test command to buy BTC for 10,000 won at market price," the AI agent suggests an appropriate CLI command structure or helps execution.
Upbit Skills supports price queries such as current price, order book, trades, candles and market lists. It also supports account information lookups such as balances, order creation, inquiry and cancellation and order tests, deposit address lookups and withdrawal information checks. It also provides an auxiliary Travel Rule verification function for deposits that require account owner verification.
A Dunamu official said, "As demand increases for using AI agents to build trading tools directly or set up an investment environment, the importance is growing of an environment that can use complex API methods and exchange-specific rules more easily and consistently."
