29CM opens second Iguhome store in Seongsu-dong, boosts food and pet offerings

29CM, an online select shop operated by Musinsa, said it will open its second lifestyle select shop, Iguhome Seongsu 2, on Jan. 30 on Dongyeonmu Jang-gil in Seoul’s Seongsu-dong. The 559-square-metre store spans the second and third floors of a remodeled former 1980s residence. It adds new pet, bathroom and food lineups and will be previewed via a live app broadcast, alongside limited opening promotions.

SSG.com says Ssg7 Club lifts members' grocery sales by 70 percent

SSG.com said analysis of grocery shopping by members of its new Ssg7 Club showed higher spending and purchasing frequency than non-members. The company said members’ average order value was 70 percent higher and average order frequency was 45 percent higher from Jan. 8 to 25. More than 80 percent of sign-ups bought grocery items at least once. Food made up 70 percent of orders, while non-food accounted for 30 percent.

Cafe24 Daily Delivery adds Ourbox to strengthen fresh food logistics

Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 said on Jan. 29 it has added fulfillment specialist Ourbox as a partner for its Daily Delivery service. It said the cooperation will strengthen fresh food logistics infrastructure for direct-to-consumer brands. Ourbox operates its own order and warehouse management systems and ships 25,000,000 boxes a year, with a 0.07 percent claim rate. The service now supports logistics across all temperature ranges, including chilled and frozen.
