Private Technology said on Thursday it has been selected as the lead company for the '2026 zero trust adoption pilot project' promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).

Private Technology plans to build a long-term operational security platform optimised for financial industry work environments by establishing a zero trust hub centred on AI-based attack surface management.

It aims to integrate data movement paths, user access, external attack surfaces, security policies and traffic detection systems into a single hub structure. The plan is to visualise data flows moving between internal and external networks and establish an operating system that enables continuous verification and policy application.

The consortium includes AI Spera, WINS Technet and NHN Cloud, while BNK Financial Group and BNK System will participate as demand institutions.

Private Technology will oversee the overall hub architecture design and buildout, while AI Spera will be responsible for attack surface management and external threat detection and management. WINS Technet will handle upgrades to traffic analysis and anomalous activity detection systems, and NHN Cloud will support cloud environment verification and a review of the potential for overseas expansion.

Private Technology plans to introduce a zero trust hub model that combines AI-based attack surface minimisation with automated security operations in the project. Chief Executive Young-rang Kim (김영랑) said, "Because the financial industry requires both security stability and business continuity, this will be a meaningful opportunity to verify the effectiveness of a zero trust security model." She added, "We will do our best so it can establish itself as a security platform that can continue to operate even after the pilot project."
