XRP seen outstripping gold and silver markets by 2026; what price target?
Talk is heating up in the community over forecasts that XRP’s potential value could exceed gold and silver. The Crypto Basic highlighted the view that XRP could mirror recent gains in precious metals. Analyst Chad Steingraber said XRP could outstrip metals by 10 times, while JPMorgan sees gold and silver rising through 2026. Based on XRP’s current supply, price and market value, some estimates put it at $65 to $70 if it replaced silver, and as high as $5,000 in an extreme scenario.

Uncertainty is rising over the crypto market outlook for 2026 after 2025 ended lower despite forecasts of favorable conditions such as a pro-crypto U.S. president, Federal Reserve rate cuts and liquidity expansion. Bitcoin fell 5.7 percent for the year and posted its worst fourth quarter since 2018. Experts cited structural changes from ETF approvals and institutional inflows, and warned a severe downturn could be triggered by an AI bubble burst, tighter liquidity or exchange failures.
