Hong Beom-sik urges LG Uplus to grow together on trust

LG Uplus Chief Executive Hong Beom-sik named TRUST as the company’s key word for 2026 and laid out a strategy to pursue sustainable growth through trust among employees, management, the company and customers. In a New Year message, he said 2025 was a year to design the broad direction and strategy. He defined TRUST through five mindsets: keeping promises, revealing problems, uniting on challenges, deep customer segmentation and change driven by gratitude and praise.

KB Financial chairman says finance is built on trust, must read future changes

KB Financial Group on Thursday held a digital New Year ceremony using AI technology and presented “Transition & Expansion” as the group’s management strategy direction for this year. The event used an AI-generated video of Chairman Yang Jong-hee delivering a New Year message instead of an in-person gathering. Yang stressed changing business practices to fit a new environment and expanding the group’s boundaries, while reading future changes including AI advances. He said finance depends on trust grounded in capability.

Hanwha Vision expands network product warranty to 5 years

Hanwha Vision has expanded the warranty period for its network products to five years. The company said on Thursday the longer coverage applies to network cameras and storage devices produced after Jan. 1. Previously, standard products carried a three-year warranty and some cooperation products had four years. Hard disk drives and some consumables are excluded. Hanwha Vision said customers can expect stable operation and lower maintenance costs.
