Shinhan Bank on Jan. 5 held a first-half 2026 management strategy meeting at its headquarters auditorium in central Seoul with executives and employees attending. Under its 2026 strategic goals, it reviewed last year’s key achievements and shared strategies and detailed plans to respond to changes in the business environment. CEO Jung Sang-hyuk outlined five strategic directions, including productive finance, customer-centric solutions, effective AX and DX, stronger innovation momentum and sustainable trust, and stressed stronger protection of customer information.

South Korean financial industry leaders met in Seoul on Jan. 5 for a New Year gathering and pledged to press ahead despite ongoing domestic and external uncertainty.
