Woori Bank to support 35 promising mid-sized firms with up to 30 billion won in productive finance

Woori Bank said on Saturday it has jointly selected 35 companies for the seventh cohort of the Rising Leaders 300 mid-sized company financing programme with South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. The bank will provide up to 30 billion won in support per company and interest-rate discounts of up to 1.0 percentage point in the first year. It will also offer non-financial services including trade finance solutions, ESG response consulting and digital transformation consulting.

XRP recovery to $1.40 revives bullish calls, with $5 seen as next target

XRP has climbed back above $1.40, reviving bullish forecasts that it could extend gains. The Crypto Basic reported that market analyst Crypto Catalyst said another major rally may be starting, citing a chart structure similar to past breakouts. XRP was trading at $1.44, up 2.5 percent on the day and 7.61 percent over a week. The analyst cited $5 as a possible next key target, with $2 and $3 watched first.

LGU+ holds disability awareness concert for employees for Day of Persons with Disabilities

LGU+ held a disability awareness programme for employees to mark the Day of Persons with Disabilities. The company and LG Electronics hosted an accessibility and disability awareness lunch concert on April 17 at LG Sciencepark in Magok, Seoul, with about 300 employees attending. The event featured a performance by a chamber orchestra made up of musicians with developmental disabilities, a lecture and hands-on demonstrations of accessibility technologies and assistive devices.
