Hecto Group holds 10th blood donation campaign, donates 10,000 won per certificate

Hecto Group marked its 10th employee blood donation campaign by setting aside 10,000 won for each donated blood donation certificate to support treatment costs for children with cancer. The company held the 10th “HECTO&” campaign from Aug. 31 to Sept. 1. HECTO& is the group’s social contribution programme. It said it will donate the full amount accumulated through the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation.

HR feels AI-driven work change fastest, HCG speeds up HR AI agents

Human Consulting Group (HCG), which started as an HR consulting firm, is accelerating development of HR AI agents and expanding AI features across its HR products. Park Tae-seo (박태서), head of its AI×HR R&D Center, said HR is the area that feels AI-driven changes in work fastest and that proactive 대응 could help spread HR-led AI transformation. The company is adding AI assistants, dashboards and agents, while supporting custom agent builds on cloud and on-premises.

KOSDAQ rally faces policy test as segmentation delays, tougher delisting rules loom

After posting its strongest August gain since launch, South Korea’s KOSDAQ is facing a policy test in September. Plans to introduce a tiered market segmentation aimed at attracting institutional money have been delayed, while tougher delisting rules are raising concerns about pressure on growth firms. Trading value remains weak despite the rally. The exchange has yet to hold a public hearing on the segmentation plan. Delisting cases could emerge from Oct. 21 under current rules.
