Hancom InSpace to launch private hyperspectral satellite Sejong 3 on March 29
Hancom InSpace will launch Sejong 3, South Korea's first privately operated hyperspectral satellite, on March 29 local time aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket in the United States. The 6U-class satellite will operate in low Earth orbit at 500 to 600 km altitude and carry a hyperspectral sensor with 442 wavelength bands. The company plans to expand its satellite data business and strengthen its observation system by integrating constellation operations.

The recruitment is marked by bringing its creator track forward from the second half to the first half. The hiring is divided into a creator track for graduates and those expected to graduate in August, and a “Be the First” track for those expected to graduate in February 2027.
