SK Shieldus' physical security brand ADT Caps said on Aug. 6 it will launch an integrated operations service through its "Caps Store Solution" that manages store operations and security in a single app.
The company said the "Caps Store Solution" can be configured by selecting only needed functions for various store environments, including hybrid stores, unmanned stores, small one-person stores and franchise stores. Options include access authentication devices, kiosks, doorbells, lighting switches, temperature and humidity sensors and ViewGuard, an AI CCTV system.
Selected functions can be managed through ADT Caps' integrated management platform, the CapsON app, and can also be used on PCs. Store owners can check operating status in CapsON, including security, access, sales, attendance and devices, and manage AI CCTV footage from multiple spaces and stores on a single screen.
The solution can also track sales by time slot and by product based on sales data from payment devices such as kiosks. It supports efficient store management and data-driven decision-making by analyzing a range of operating data, including sales and attendance. When linked with ADT Caps' dispatch security service, it can be used as a single system from routine store management to emergency response.
An ADT Caps official said demand is rising quickly for efficiently integrated management in a digital environment not only for security but also for access, sales, attendance and devices as store operating environments diversify. The official said ADT Caps will continue expanding functions needed for store operations based on its physical security capabilities so customers can run stores more efficiently and safely.
