Hana Bank to support K-shipbuilding with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, K-Sure
Hana Bank said on Thursday it signed a memorandum of understanding with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and Korea Trade Insurance Corp to provide financial support to strengthen the export supply chain for South Korea’s shipbuilding industry. The partners will jointly contribute 28.0 billion won to K-Sure and aim to supply 400.0 billion won in financing and liquidity within the first quarter, offering fee support and preferential terms to suppliers recommended by HD Hyundai Heavy Industries.

U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee unveils crypto market structure bill, passage still uncertain
The U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee released a crypto market structure bill that includes provisions related to DeFi, The Block reported on Jan. 22. Chairman John Boozman said cooperation improved the measure, though agreement on basic policy issues remains elusive. Democrats continue to oppose it, citing consumer protection and crypto businesses involving President Donald Trump and his family. Passing the bill would require 60 votes in the Senate.

GitHub releases Copilot SDK to support building agentic workflows
GitHub has released a technical preview of the GitHub Copilot SDK, a solution designed to support building agentic workflows, it said on Thursday. The company said the SDK is designed to reduce the burden of building workflows from scratch and enables developers to use Copilot’s execution engine as a headless, programmable layer across applications. It said the SDK supports Node.js, Python, Go and .NET.
