OneStore said on Thursday it will officially open 'AI Games', a dedicated section featuring games made using artificial intelligence.

AI Games is a space that selects and introduces games that creators have made themselves using AI. Users can run the games directly in OneStore without downloading a separate application.

As of the opening, OneStore will first present 20 games including 'Ragnarok Breaker' and 'Raising Heroes Squad'.

The section was built through a partnership with AI game creation platform company Verse8. The Verse8 platform supports a system in which AI implements planning, graphics and play rules when users describe them in sentences without writing code directly.

OneStore plans to integrate creator-made games into its distribution and payment environment through AI Games. It described this as the result of implementing as an actual service the vision previously laid out by its parent company Nexth of transforming into a platform where anyone can make and distribute games with AI.

OneStore plans to use the section as a channel to constantly discover and distribute games and to expand creator support measures step by step. It also plans to run an opening event starting on Aug. 11. Each time a user runs a different game in the section, one 15 percent discount coupon will be issued, up to a maximum of 10.

Jang Hyun-kook (장현국), CEO of Nexth, said, "OneStore has become the world's first AI game distribution platform and will grow together with advances in large language models (LLMs) and the growth of creators."

Verse8 signed a partnership with Nexth last year, and investors include Nexth, Nexspace, Neowiz, Netmarble Marbex and the Story Foundation.
