DJI unveils lightweight RS 5 gimbal for solo production

DJI said on Thursday it will launch a new lightweight commercial camera gimbal, the DJI RS 5. The company said the RS 5 is designed to improve usability in one-person video production with enhanced intelligent subject tracking, stabilisation and battery efficiency. It includes an upgraded tracking module and a fifth-generation stabilisation algorithm. DJI said the RS 5 will be sold from Jan. 30 in two options through official distributors and the DJI online store.

Samsung Electronics expands ultralight digital signage lineup

Samsung Electronics has launched digital signage using bio-based materials and will roll out a 13-inch A4-size Samsung Color E-Paper globally in phases, the company said on Thursday. The lineup expansion follows a 32-inch model introduced last year. The ultra-low-power display uses digital ink technology and consumes no power to maintain an on-screen image. The new model includes a rechargeable detachable battery and mounting accessories.

KB Asset Management's RISE AI&Robot ETF tops 500 billion won in net assets

KB Asset Management said on Jan. 30 its RISE AI&Robot ETF surpassed 500 billion won in net assets as of Jan. 28. The ETF, launched in 2023, is described as South Korea’s first humanoid robot concept ETF. As of Jan. 30, top holdings include SPG, Neuromeka, Rainbow Robotics, Doosan Robotics and NAVER. The ETF posted 1-month and 6-month returns of 41.47 percent and 93.64 percent.
