ITCEN Entec posts 15.3 billion won operating profit in first half on margin gains

ITCEN Entec said on Aug. 13 it posted first-half 2026 consolidated revenue of 274.7 billion won and operating profit of 15.3 billion won.

Revenue rose 14.63 percent from a year earlier. Operating profit increased to 15.35 billion won from 920 million won a year earlier. Net profit also swung to a 16.03 billion won profit from a 3.41 billion won loss a year earlier.

First-half separate revenue rose 17.38 percent from a year earlier to 157.2 billion won. Operating profit increased 78.65 percent to 13.3 billion won.

The company said the expanding scale of maintenance-focused businesses, including the Integrated Local Finance Disaster Recovery System and KCTC performance upgrades for the Advanced Tactical Training System, led to improved profitability. It added that optimized staffing operations due to a growing order backlog and tighter control of project execution cost ratios widened profit gains.

ITCEN Entec said it plans to raise productivity in public and financial DX sites in the second half and also step up its AX (AI Transformation) conversion business.

Shin Jang-ho (신장호), ITCEN Entec's chief executive, said, "The first-half results are the outcome of continuous profitability-focused business restructuring and cost management efforts since joining the group in 2020." He added, "In the second half, we will continue stable growth and improve profitability by steadily strengthening the foundation for AI and AX businesses based on upgrades to IntelliCEN Code and synergy with subsidiaries."
