Smilegate said on Aug. 13 it will attend the global game show Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2026, to be held in September at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. It said it will exhibit “Miraesi: The Unseen Future” (Miraesi) and “Dead Account: Two Blue Flames” (Dead Account).

Tokyo Game Show marks its 30th anniversary this year and will be held for 5 days from Sept. 17 to 21. Smilegate, which attended TGS 2025 last year, plans to run a booth this year with the two titles, Miraesi and Dead Account.

Miraesi is a collectible RPG developed by Control9, with Smilegate preparing to publish the game. Art director Kim Hyeong-seop (김형섭) took part, and it has been exhibited at last year’s Tokyo Game Show and AGF, as well as at Anime Expo 2026 in July this year.

Dead Account is a team roguelite game based on a manga by Watanabe Shizumu (와타나베 시즈무), which began serialization in 2023. Reflecting the original story and world view, it is slated for release as a mobile and PC Stove cross-platform title, and a pre-registration event is under way.

Smilegate is recruiting partner creators related to the two titles. Recruitment for Dead Account starts on Aug. 14, and the company plans to run an event on social media platform X in which 30 applicants will be selected by lottery to receive TGS 2026 admission tickets. Miraesi has been recruiting on an ongoing basis since June 25, with more than 200 creators currently active.

Smilegate also opened a dedicated website on Aug. 13 to announce its participation in TGS 2026. It plans to disclose related information, including upcoming events and stage program schedules, in stages through the site.
