Motif Technologies to hire developers for proprietary AI foundation model project

Motif Technologies, which is participating in the development of a proprietary AI foundation model, said on Sunday it will hold an open recruitment drive to advance development and expand its business. The hiring covers AI research engineers, applied AI engineers, and business development and operations staff. The company said it will provide benefits including flexible working hours, equipment support funds, health checkups, and 2 million won a year in welfare points.

Samsung affiliates to apply five-day vehicle restrictions at all sites

Samsung said on Sunday it will tighten vehicle-use restrictions at all its domestic worksites by switching from a 10-day rotation to a five-day scheme. The move follows a government announcement on April 1 of measures to curb energy demand, including alternate-day vehicle restrictions for public institutions and a five-day system at public parking lots. Samsung will start the five-day scheme on April 8 and continue parallel power-saving activities at its sites.

Bitcoin and dollar in symbiosis; GENIUS Act framework should not be undermined

A claim has emerged that demand for the U.S. dollar rises as bitcoin and dollar-pegged stablecoins spread, forming a symbiotic relationship. Sam Lyman of the Bitcoin Policy Institute cited the dominance of the BTC/USD pair and the central role of Tether's USDT, backed by cash-like assets and short-term U.S. Treasuries. He compared the dynamic to the petrodollar era and urged U.S. lawmakers to keep developing the GENIUS regulatory framework without straying from core principles.
