Albamon overhauls main screen as AI recommends personalised part-time jobs

Part-time job platform Albamon said on Sunday it has overhauled its main app screen around AI-driven personalisation. The redesign, timed with operator JobKorea’s unveiling of its new corporate name Worxphere, focuses on reworking the user experience so users can move quickly from installation to applying. Albamon applies its LOOP Ai recommendation model, streamlines sign-up and resume steps, and expands easy registration via social accounts such as Kakao.

Bitcoin plunge stirs debate over dip versus crash as investors split

Amid extreme volatility in the cryptocurrency market, investors are split over whether bitcoin's latest move is a dip or a crash. Santiment said changes in language on social media may be more important than price action, with calls of a “crash” often marking reliable bottom signals. It said mentions shifted after bitcoin touched $60,000 on Feb. 5 and then rebounded. Santiment also said comparisons with the 2022 FTX collapse are exaggerated.

Saramin's KoMate recruits first 'KoMate Friends' supporters for international students

Saramin said on Feb. 9 it is recruiting the first cohort of KoMate Friends, an official supporters group for international students using its foreign hiring service KoMate. Applicants must be international students enrolled at universities or graduate schools in South Korea, able to communicate in Korean and interested in job hunting and content creation. Selected supporters will begin with a March launch event and work for eight weeks as KoMate ambassadors.
