Nexon Games confirmed the official name of its new girl-character game 'Project RX' as 'Fareidolia (FAREIDOLIA)' and released its brand identity and a teaser image on Sunday.

Fareidolia is a girl-character game in development by RX Studio under Nexon Games' IO Division, which developed 'Blue Archive'. It supports PC, console and mobile platforms and is set to feature 3D graphics built on Unreal Engine 5.

The game is set in a world in which the player takes up a post as head of the Animasi Revival Center and, as manager of an office called Tasogare Hall, works with characters known as "Mates" to solve problems. The title "Fareidolia" is meant to reflect a story of forming bonds in the otherworldly Animasi.

The teaser image released on Sunday shows Tasogare Hall, with the characters Ohana, Shami and Minie sleeping in a room.

Nexon Games plans to take part in Tokyo Game Show 2026, to be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, from Sept. 17 to 21.

At the event, Nexon Games plans to showcase a booth recreating Tasogare Hall from the game and to unveil a playable version of Fareidolia for the first time. It also plans character cosplay and hands-on events featuring Minie, Ohana, Shami and an elevator girl, as well as limited goods.
