Samsung Electronics to unveil new Galaxy S series on Feb. 26

Samsung Electronics will unveil its next Galaxy S series at its “Galaxy Unpacked 2026” event in the United States at 3 a.m. on Feb. 26 Seoul time, it said on Tuesday. The company said the event theme is “The Next AI Phone Makes Your Life Easier.” It is expected to introduce the Galaxy S26 series with enhanced artificial intelligence features. Samsung will accept notification sign-ups until 5 p.m. on Feb. 26.

Woori Financial starts 200 billion won investment in first National Growth Fund in finance sector

Woori Financial Group said on Tuesday it will create a 200 billion won Woori National Growth Matching Fund to support the successful formation of the National Growth Fund, the first such move by a financial company. The National Growth Fund this year targets 7 trillion won in indirect investment funding, including 5.5 trillion won from private finance. Woori Financial plans to invest about 400 billion won in sub-funds this year.

K Bank builds AI assistant dedicated to customer service center

K Bank said on Tuesday it has built an AI assistant system dedicated to its customer service center. The system applies an AI contact center concept and integrates AI across the full consultation process. The assistant analyses 상담 content in real time, automatically identifies question intent and searches and summarises internal knowledge stored in a knowledge management system to generate recommended responses. K Bank said the system uses a finance-focused private LLM introduced internally last February.
