Google Cloud said on Aug. 25 it will launch packaged solutions of Gemini Enterprise tailored to the financial services and legal industries.

The two products are the first in an industry-specific solution series based on the Gemini Enterprise platform and will be offered in preview to Google Cloud customers worldwide.

Each solution provides industry-specific AI capabilities that can be used immediately without a separate, complex deployment process. They include custom agents, specialist “skills” features to manage various tasks easily, data connectors and industry-optimised AI models.

Google Cloud infrastructure and the Gemini Enterprise platform support enterprise-grade security, governance, compliance and cost management functions.

Thomas Kurian (토마스 쿠리안), CEO of Google Cloud, said financial professionals need an AI platform that integrates smoothly with the IT systems they use every day without being tied to a specific model or ecosystem, while ensuring strong security and compliance. He said Gemini Enterprise for financial services provides agentic capabilities tailored to financial work based on verifiable data, helping financial institutions turn AI innovation into a clear competitive advantage.

On the legal-focused service, he said agentic AI can help legal professionals deliver greater value to clients through extensive case-law research, complex legal reasoning and automation of simple repetitive tasks. He said it is most important to ensure every step of an agent workflow is based on accurate facts and legal grounds, and that Gemini Enterprise for legal use addresses the complex requirements of today’s legal work while providing strong evidence verification and governance functions so legal teams can focus on more strategic advice.
