Comtrue Technology, an AI and information security company, said on Tuesday it updated its generative AI security solution Sphinx AI and added an image confidential information similarity analysis function.
The company said Sphinx AI is an AI DLP security solution that detects personal, sensitive and confidential information in prompts and attached files entered into generative AI, and prevents external leakage.
It said adding the image confidential information similarity analysis function expanded the detection scope to confidential information in images, following prompts and document files.
The company said if a user attaches an image or a document file that includes an image to generative AI, the system analyzes similarity with previously registered confidential information images and blocks uploads if it exceeds the standard.
A Comtrue Technology official said, "As generative AI spreads across work overall, the routes through which data that companies must protect can leak are also becoming more diverse." The official added, "We will continue to expand the scope of confidential information protection in line with the changing environment for using AI."
