KT M&S runs Galaxy Z Fold8 experience zones at KT Plazas

KT M&S, KT Corp’s distribution affiliate for telecom products, will operate experience zones for Samsung Electronics’ new foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Fold8 series at KT Plaza stores nationwide, it said on Wednesday. Samsung unveiled three foldables at its Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event in London: the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8. KT M&S said customers can try devices and get subscriptions, activations and service consultations at stores.

LG Uplus personalised AI technology recognised at global information retrieval conference

LG Uplus said its personalised AI technology was recognised at an international information retrieval conference after a paper on its in-house “Personal Intelligence” was accepted at SIGIR 2026. The conference runs through July 24 in Melbourne, Australia. The company will present its research results on site on July 23. It said the technology combines different customer data to analyse context and interests and is designed to run stably in telecom environments.

$16.3 billion Louisiana public pension buys more Strategy, expands indirect bitcoin exposure

The Louisiana State Employees’ Retirement System increased its holding in Strategy, expanding indirect exposure to bitcoin. U.Today reported that the pension fund, which manages $16.3 billion in assets, lifted its Strategy stake to 21,300 shares valued at about $2.13 million. Data from BitcoinTreasuries.net show it added shares while keeping its existing position. The move reflects growing institutional use of listed firms and ETFs to access crypto markets without directly holding cryptocurrencies.
