Microsoft announces new AI-powered Office pricing plan, develops Copilot Cowork with Anthropic
Microsoft will sell a new enterprise subscription package, Microsoft 365 E7, from May at $99 per user per month, bundling Office 365 software with the Copilot AI chatbot. The package combines E5, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Agent 365, and includes Entra Suite plus security features such as Defender, Intune and Purview. Microsoft also unveiled Copilot Cowork, developed with Anthropic, and said it is in a private pilot for some customers.

Bybit continues Middle East expansion despite regional tensions
Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit is accelerating its expansion in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market and has appointed Derek Dai as a new country manager, Cointelegraph reported on Sunday. Attention has focused on the UAE-headquartered exchange as regional tensions rise. Bybit co-CEO Helen Liu said some companies are cutting exposure to the Gulf region, while Bybit is increasing investment. Bybit plans to strengthen its local presence through expanding dirham trading and other initiatives.

Nasdaq to work with Kraken on issuer-focused stock tokenisation
Nasdaq is working with crypto exchange Kraken and its infrastructure affiliate Bakkt to expand stock tokenisation, Cointelegraph reported on Monday. Nasdaq plans to connect traditional finance with blockchain-based networks while keeping stock issuers’ rights. The companies are developing a stock conversion gateway with Kraken parent Payward and Bakkt’s xStocks platform. Nasdaq CEO Tal Cohen said tokenisation could improve investor access and issuer shareholder engagement.
