Hana Bank to offer financial education tailored for children
Hana Bank said on March 10 it will begin its children's financial education programme for elementary school students from March 21. Now in its fourth year, the programme teaches basic financial concepts and sound pocket money management through play and experiential activities. The online Saturday classes are tailored by grade, with separate sessions for grades 1 to 3 and grades 4 to 6. The bank plans 40 sessions in total, open to about 1,200 children.

Buy-side sidecar triggered as KOSPI surges
The Korea Composite Stock Price Index triggered a buy-side sidecar on March 10 shortly after the market opened. At around 9:06:02 a.m., the rapid rise in the KOSPI 200 futures index led to a 5-minute suspension of the validity of program buy quotes, the report said.

TheVentures partners with China's Z.ai to jointly identify promising AI startups
TheVentures, an early-stage venture capital firm, said on Tuesday it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Hong Kong-listed Chinese AI startup Z.ai to support the global AI startup ecosystem. The deal aims to combine the two companies’ acceleration systems and technical infrastructure to jointly identify and nurture promising AI startups. The partners plan to provide access to Z.ai infrastructure and APIs, run scale-up mentoring, and build a community for technical exchange.
