AI voice technology company Hudson AI said on Sept. 16 it provided its real-time AI interpretation and translation solution, Hudson Live, at the 2026 International Broadcasting Video Market (BCWW).

Hudson Live is an AI-based interpretation and translation solution that recognises a presenter’s voice in real time at an event venue and translates it into multiple languages. At this year’s BCWW, it supported 6 languages including English, Japanese, Chinese and Spanish.

Attendees can view the presentation in real-time translated subtitles in their preferred language or listen to it in audio. In panel talks with multiple participants, it provides content separated by speaker.

Hudson AI explained it used voice data accumulated through its media content dubbing business to improve the accuracy of speech recognition and translation for proper nouns and technical terms, including broadcasters, online video services (OTT), content platforms and titles of works.

Hudson AI plans to expand the scope of Hudson Live to international conferences and events and to advance its speech recognition, translation and generation technology.

Hyun-jin Shin (신현진), CEO of Hudson AI, said, "Hudson Live’s goal is to create an environment where anyone can communicate naturally even if they speak in the language they are most confident in, without language barriers, so they can stand on a broader stage." He added, "We will advance real-time voice technology and develop it into voice interaction that enables natural conversations between people, and further between people and AI."
