ITCEN Global to issue 40 billion won convertible bonds to expand new business investment
ITCEN Global said on May 4 it will issue 40 billion won in convertible bonds to improve its financial structure and expand investment in new businesses. The issuance will be carried out through investment via ITC Holdings LLC, which is wholly owned by KCGI Innovation Growth ESG Private Equity Fund No. 1. ITCEN Global said it will use the funds to expand new growth businesses including token securities and Web3.

Hancom Inspace to start global sales of Sejong satellite imagery data
Hancom Inspace, an AI data analysis company, said on May 4 it will provide Sejong series Earth observation imagery via global satellite data platforms such as SkyFi starting in the third quarter. It said SkyFi is a marketplace where users can search and buy satellite imagery and geospatial data, giving the company a global distribution channel. Hancom Inspace plans to expand its satellite data business and diversify revenue through data sales.

Samsung Electronics has appointed Lee Won-jin, head of global marketing, as chief of its Visual Display Business and head of the Service Business team in an executive reshuffle announced on May 4. The company said Lee is a content, service and marketing expert who helped build key foundations for its TV and mobile services and strengthened global competitiveness. It added he is expected to lead a turnaround and bolster TV competitiveness.
