KCA produces deep research guidebook for proper use of generative AI

Korea Communications Agency said on Tuesday it has produced and distributed a guidebook on using deep analysis functions offered by generative AI for work. The guide introduces deep analysis tools in major services including OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google's Gemini and provides effective ways to use them. It includes cases such as policy research, drafting reports and analytical support, and covers prompt-writing to improve answer accuracy. It also outlines privacy, security, ethics, bias and misinformation issues and includes the status of domestic large language models.

U.S., EU investment surge lifts foreign direct investment to record $36.05 billion in 2025

South Korea’s reported foreign direct investment totalled $36.05 billion in 2025, the highest on record and up 4.3 percent from a year earlier, the industry ministry said. Arrivals rose 16.3 percent to $17.95 billion. Greenfield investment climbed 7.1 percent to a record $28.59 billion, while mergers and acquisitions fell 5.1 percent. U.S. investment surged 86.6 percent and EU investment rose 35.7 percent.

Mercedes-Benz unveils MB.Drive Assist Pro for city driving in CLA prototype test

Mercedes-Benz unveiled MB.Drive Assist Pro, a new advanced driver assistance system designed for urban environments as well as highways, and demonstrated it in San Francisco using a next-generation CLA prototype. The Nvidia Drive AV-based system offers enhanced Level 2 point-to-point assistance but requires drivers to keep their hands on the wheel and watch the road. Mercedes emphasises multi-sensor fusion, redundant algorithms and quarterly over-the-air updates. Pricing has not been disclosed.
