AI contract platform company Modusign said on March 13 it has signed a strategic partnership with law firm Seonun, which specialises in fair trade and franchise business law.
The cooperation was 추진됐다 to lay the groundwork for franchise headquarters to identify in advance legal risks that may arise across the entire lifecycle, from signing to renewal and expiry, and to respond systematically.
Modusign provides automated contract classification, instant searches of key clauses and automatic renewal-date alerts through its AI-based contract management solution, Cabinet. The company said that after adopting Cabinet, the time required to conduct a full review of contracts under specific conditions fell to 30 seconds from 16 hours, while year-end store opening and closure management time dropped to 5 minutes from 12 hours. Seonun is a law firm led by lawyers who previously worked at the Korea Fair Trade Commission and was the only domestic law firm to receive a "highly recommended" rating in a 2025 assessment by the UK competition law journal GCR.
As a first step in the cooperation, the two companies plan to hold a joint webinar for franchise headquarters.
Modusign CEO Young-jun Lee (이영준) said, "We will present a new standard for contract management that combines data-driven contract management and legal trust." Seonun managing partner Dong-ik Lee (이동익) said, "By combining legal advice and AI-based contract management technology, we will be able to create a structure that prevents disputes in advance."
