Practical AI company Muhayu said on Thursday it will revamp the AI generation check in its Copykiller plagiarism detection service.

It will operate plagiarism checks and AI generation checks separately and provide a report for each. The aim is to help users interpret AI generation check results on their own.

The AI generation check will present a document-wide "AI writing rate" and also provide analysis grounds such as writing style structure and expression patterns for paragraphs judged to be AI-generated. Results are classified into 3 levels: caution, suspicious and high.

Muhayu CEO Dongho Shin (신동호) said what is needed in an era when AI use has become widespread is not unconditional control but a system that can prove a transparent process of use. He added the company will become a partner in establishing new learning ethics and evaluation standards in an era of coexistence with AI.
