Bitcoin retail investor demand nears two-year high
Demand from small bitcoin investors is nearing its highest level in about 2 years, according to an on-chain analyst cited by Coinpost. Data for transfers of $0 to $10,000 show the 30-day change rate in retail demand close to plus 10 percent, similar to August 2025 when bitcoin was around $123,000. Bitcoin now trades around $63,000 to $65,000, making the surge in small-investor demand the focus of the analysis.

Korea Post unveils commemorative stamp for 150th birth anniversary of Kim Gu
Korea Post, under the Ministry of Science and ICT, will issue 528,000 commemorative stamps on Aug. 28 to mark the 150th birth anniversary of independence activist Kim Gu. The stamp features a portrait of Kim taken in Chongqing, China in 1942 and includes a quote from his autobiography, "Baekbeom Ilji". A special postmark uses a line from "My Wish" in the book. Related displays are planned in Seoul.

Crypto exchange UEX.US lists Shiba Inu, adds deposit rewards and collateral loans
U.S. cryptocurrency exchange UEX.US has listed Shiba Inu (SHIB) and launched deposit rewards and collateral-backed loan services. Users can trade SHIB against the stablecoin USDT and major assets, and can also buy the token using PayPal, wire transfers and card payments. The exchange introduced a 4.5 percent annual yield deposit reward from the first day and allows users to borrow up to 90 percent of asset value using SHIB as collateral.
