Sh Suhyup Bank seeks applicants for fisheries development fund

Sh Suhyup Bank said on Jan. 19 it will recruit applicants until Feb. 6 for projects under the 2026 Fisheries Development Fund. The fund totals 180.4 billion won, including 10.5 billion won for management improvement funds for TAC participants, 46.7 billion won for support for quality seafood and 51.6 billion won for seafood purchase support. It also includes funding for processing facilities, operations and distribution. Loan rates generally apply at 2.5 percent a year for fishermen and 3 percent for non-fishermen.

MegazoneCloud partners with Wiz on domestic business

MegazoneCloud said on Jan. 19 it has formed a partnership with Wiz to pursue business in South Korea’s corporate market. MegazoneCloud described Wiz as a global cloud security platform company that analyzes and visualises security across cloud environments through a security graph. The companies aim to help customers identify, prioritise and respond to security risks more reliably in cloud environments. They also plan to expand technical collaboration, joint market activities and seminars for corporate security leaders.

Kolon Benit to expand SAP BDC and AI business

Kolon Benit, a domestic partner of SAP in South Korea, will reinforce its overall SAP business in 2026, focusing on SAP Business Data Cloud and artificial intelligence. The company plans to support SAP transitions and upgrades optimised for customer environments in line with SAP’s shift to a cloud-based solution ecosystem and expansion of AI functions across work processes. It will also strengthen capabilities to move BW and DW environments to a Datasphere-based analytics setup.
