Tax tech company Jarvis & Villains said on March 24 it will launch its AI-based tax question-and-answer service, Samjjom Sam Q, and link it to Kakao Tools within Kakao's ChatGPT for Kakao.
Samjjom Sam Q was trained in a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) approach by using searches across more than 510,000 items of data, including tax laws, National Tax Service precedents and Q&A response data. It will also expand “expert-verified content” reviewed by tax accountants and accountants at partner tax firms, starting from 10,000 items to more than tens of thousands.
The Kakao Tools link is the core. When a situation is detected in a ChatGPT for Kakao conversation that requires checking or applying for a tax refund, Kakao Tools automatically calls up Samjjom Sam. The structure allows users to handle everything inside KakaoTalk, from tax questions to refund applications.
