Ansys Korea holds industry-tailored simulation AI solution seminar
Ansys Korea held an "Industry-Tailored Simulation AI Solution Seminar" on Jan. 22 at COEX in Seoul to share strategies for applying AI based on engineering simulation. Six sessions covered approaches spanning product design to manufacturing, workflows using Ansys optiSLang, automation using PyAnsys, virtual training data generation and data fusion, near real-time digital twins using reduced-order models, and a machine-learning haemodynamics model using 4D Flow MRI data.

Hanwha Solutions, KAIST file 34 petrochemistry core technology patents
Hanwha Solutions and KAIST said on Jan. 23 they filed a total of 34 patent applications through joint industry-academia research. They said the results came from the KAIST-Hanwha Solutions Institute of Future Technology and helped secure competitiveness in next-generation petrochemical core technologies focused on energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. The partners signed an agreement in November 2015 and established the institute in 2016.

SK Planet launches iParking EV electric vehicle charging gift card
SK Planet said on Thursday it will launch an iParking EV electric vehicle charging gift card in cooperation with iParking, an affiliate providing charging and parking solutions, in line with growing EV use. Users can register the gift card in the iParking EV app, convert it into points and use them to pay for charging at iParking EV charging stations nationwide. The card is sold in five denominations.
