Circle CEO says AI agents and stablecoins will change world within 5 years

Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire says stablecoins have no realistic alternative for AI agents to take part in economic activity. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, he says billions of AI agents will appear within 3 to 5 years and that combining AI with stablecoins will become a key pillar of the global financial system. He says legacy finance cannot match AI speed and scale, while stablecoins can enable automated, cross-border, 24-hour payments.

Inorules partners with PTC Korea on AI-based work automation for manufacturing

Inorules, a company specialising in AI-based work automation, said on Jan. 26 it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with PTC Korea to cooperate on automating work processes in the manufacturing industry. The two will combine PTC’s manufacturing-focused platform with Inorules’ rules engine and AI solutions to automate decision-making processes at manufacturing sites. Inorules CEO Jang In-su said manufacturing is a field where AI-driven automation can be maximised.

CallGate provides 'visible payment' to AhnLab Mall

CallGate, a company specialising in visual ARS and payment services, said on Monday it has provided its “visible payment” service to AhnLab Mall, the official online store of security firm AhnLab. The service displays a payment screen during a call, replacing a process that required switching to ARS and entering card details. It supports NFC-based TapPay and major simple payment options such as Naver Pay and Kakao Pay.
