GRAC, KOCCA join forces to strengthen redress for random-item damage
The Game Rating and Administration Committee and the Korea Creative Content Agency signed a memorandum of understanding on Jan. 30 in Seoul to strengthen cooperation on redress for damage linked to randomised in-game items. The two bodies will link the Random Item Damage Relief Center with the Content Dispute Mediation Committee, refine transfer procedures, divide roles for investigation and mediation, share information and improve access and processing speed.

Science ministry seeks new energy, environment technologies to launch commercialisation projects
South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT said on Jan. 30 it found 7 new technologies in future energy and environment and will pursue new commercialisation. It has run a consultative body since 2024 with 11 academic societies and 12 government-funded research institutes. The ministry plans detailed project design for the selected technologies and aims to 추진 them as new R&D projects in 2027.

Grok AI stays silent on XRP 2026 price forecast, investors ask why
As XRP continues to trade on a weak trend, asset manager 21Shares posted a question to Elon Musk’s AI model Grok asking for a 2026 XRP price outlook. Grok responded to bitcoin and ether forecasts, citing wide ranges and referencing other sources, but did not answer on XRP, prompting community debate. Grok had earlier forecast XRP could reach $10 in 2026. Some in the market said the silence could reflect factors such as data reliability, limits on accuracy, or policy sensitivity.
