KOSPI reclaims 5,000 level after one day, up over 3 percent
South Korea's benchmark KOSPI reclaimed the 5,000 level on Feb. 3 after one day. As of 9:17 a.m., it was up 174.44 points, or 3.52 percent, at 5,124.11 after opening higher. Individuals and foreigners were net sellers, while institutions were net buyers. Samsung Electronics rose 4.99 percent and SK Hynix gained 5.18 percent. The KOSDAQ was up 2.25 percent.

Devsisters, Korea Heritage Service to support hosting of UNESCO meeting
Devsisters will work with the Korea Heritage Service to help support the hosting of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee meeting. The two sides signed an agreement at Deoksugung Palace’s Dondeokjeon Hall and agreed to expand cooperation from natural heritage to national heritage overall. From June, Devsisters plans media art and promotions using the Cookie Run IP, including a “K-Heritage Run” theme in its game.

Innox Advanced Materials posts lower 2025 operating profit, targets next-generation DAF mass production in H1
Innox Advanced Materials said on Feb. 3 it posted 439.6 billion won in 2025 consolidated revenue and 81.9 billion won in operating profit. Revenue rose 4 percent from a year earlier while operating profit fell 5.6 percent. The company cited higher utilisation in semiconductor and display materials and a currency effect for revenue growth, while start-up costs at subsidiary Innox Lithium weighed on profit. It plans to supply next-generation DAF film in the first half.
