Samsung and LG target European HVAC market with joint appearance at MCE 2026
Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics are appearing side by side at Europe’s largest heating, ventilation and air-conditioning exhibition in Milan to showcase residential and commercial solutions. Samsung is holding a joint display for the first time with FlaktGroup, acquired in November. LG unveiled its integrated heat pump total solution for Europe. Both companies highlighted R32 and R290 refrigerants, new indoor units and commercial systems, including products for data centres and large spaces.

Samsung Electronics launches home-visit service to residential complexes
Samsung Electronics is launching a service that visits customers’ residential areas to provide inspections and consultations. The company will install service booths at apartment and mixed-use residential complexes, offering services ranging from product checks to repairs and purchase consultations. Customers can apply through nearby Samsung Store locations. The program starts in about 50 residential areas this month and is set to expand to about 500 areas nationwide within the year.

Otek Carrier launches 1WAY, 4WAY cassette air conditioner models
Otek Carrier said on Tuesday it will launch new ceiling cassette system air conditioners in 1WAY and 4WAY models for uses ranging from residential spaces to commercial facilities. The company said the products are designed to support heating and cooling efficiency and a comfortable indoor environment in homes, small offices and commercial settings such as cafes and private academies. It said the 4WAY model achieved top-tier energy efficiency.
