Funjin to pursue defense AI cooperation with 39th Infantry Division

Defense vertical AI company Funjin said on Monday it signed a business partnership with the 39th Infantry Division on defense AI technology. The two sides will cooperate on training on the latest technology trends including AI technologies and solutions, regular technical advice and expert exchanges through joint seminars and workshops, and expanded mutual cooperation. Funjin also provided education for service members and shared development directions for its KWM and EagleEye platforms.

Nota tops Nvidia Nemotron hackathon overall

Nota, an AI model lightweighting and optimisation company, won the overall top prize at the Nvidia Nemotron hackathon, finishing first among 20 teams. It used synthetic data generation technology specialised for mixture-of-experts (MoE) quantisation. The event was held to share research results from Nvidia\'s open-source AI model Nemotron and improve the practical application capabilities of domestic developers, and ran in three tracks.

Korea science ministry to co-host Nvidia Nemotron developer day in Seoul

South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency will co-host Nvidia Nemotron Developer Day Seoul from April 21 to 24 at Front1 in Mapo, Seoul. The event will share research on Nvidia\'s open-source AI model Nemotron and build practical skills for local developers. Nvidia researchers will introduce synthetic data strategies and reinforcement learning for optimization. A panel with four consortia will discuss AI competitiveness and global expansion. A two-day hackathon will also be held.
