SOVAC 2026 recruits participating companies ahead of September COEX event
Social value platform SOVAC is recruiting companies and organisations to take part in its annual event in September at COEX in Seoul. The SOVAC secretariat said it will hold SOVAC 2026 on Sept. 21-22 and seek participants involved in solving social problems and spreading social value. Eligible groups include social enterprises, social ventures, non-profits and impact investors. Selected organisations will receive full support for participation fees.

KB Securities supports migrant health care and jobs for people with disabilities
KB Securities said on April 10 it bought products made by social enterprise Bravo Beaver and donated them to the Korea Migrant Health Association, WeFriends, on April 7. The donated items include health tea and chocolate sets. They will be delivered through WeFriends to migrant families eligible for support. KB Securities described the donation as a social contribution model linking support for social enterprises with assistance for vulnerable groups.

Former SK executives to mentor social ventures in scale-up programme
Happy Narae Co, a social enterprise founded by SK, said on Thursday it will recruit companies until April 30 for its 2026 SE Consultant programme. The programme pairs former SK Group executives with social venture CEOs for close mentoring to diagnose management issues and seek solutions. Since launching in 2020, 50 mentors have advised 141 social ventures and social enterprises.
