KT expands 5G slicing to upgrade enterprise and public networks

KT is expanding 5G specialised services for companies and public institutions, launching a leased \"5G work-network\" device to reduce upfront terminal costs and pushing to apply application-based network slicing to enterprise-only 5G within the year. It also outlined plans to secure next-generation network technologies aligned with the spread of AI and quantum computing, including AI-RAN, AI edge, post-quantum cryptography and AI autonomous security.

Enhans raises 51.2 billion won in Series C to upgrade AgentOS

Enhans, an enterprise agentic AI company, said on Sept. 17 it raised 51.2 billion won in a Series C funding round, taking its total funding to 81.0 billion won. The round was co-led by existing shareholder Timefolio Asset Management and new investor Stonebridge Ventures. POSCO Technology Investment, LG CNS and Lotte Ventures also joined as new shareholders. Enhans said it will use the funds to upgrade AgentOS data, process and execution infrastructure.

South Korea, five Central Asian countries expand AI and science technology cooperation, adopt multilateral initiative

South Korea and five Central Asian countries will expand cooperation in AI and science and technology, including joint research and talent exchanges, the Ministry of Science and ICT said on Tuesday. The sides jointly adopted a multilateral partnership initiative covering AI innovation in public services, AI transition in industry and the public sector, and cooperation on future climate technologies, space and energy transition. They will also share policies, systems and best practices.
