Older Google model beats latest GPT and Claude in skin cancer test

Latest general-purpose AI models recorded lower accuracy than Google’s Inception v3 image recognition model released in 2016 in a skin lesion diagnosis experiment. Researchers compared GPT-6 Astra, Claude Fable 5.1 and Inception v3 using 200 lesion images split between cases needing treatment and those requiring no action. Inception v3 led overall and in melanoma identification. The study said differing training conditions limited interpretation and larger validation and safety assessments are needed for clinical use.

Job seekers remain interested in remote work but remote job postings down 65 percent in four years

JobKorea said an analysis of integrated search terms and job-posting data over the past six years showed job seekers’ interest in remote work has remained steady, while postings offering remote work fell after peaking in 2022 and then turned upward again this year. From January to September, such postings were 65.5 percent lower than in the same period of 2022, and postings with \"remote\" in the title fell 71.9 percent.

As game console prices rise, the Nintendo Switch Lite is drawing attention as an option with the lowest upfront cost in 2026.
