RideFlux files preliminary review application for Kosdaq listing, aims to list this year

RideFlux said it filed a preliminary review application for a Kosdaq listing with the Korea Exchange on Aug. 14. The autonomous driving AI software company said it passed a technology assessment in May after receiving A ratings from two specialised evaluation agencies designated by the exchange. It is working with Korea Investment & Securities and Woori Investment & Securities as joint lead managers for a second-half listing.

LG Electronics steps up robotics cooperation with Nvidia, aims to become total robotics solution provider

LG Electronics is speeding up cooperation with Nvidia on its robotics business, inviting a senior Nvidia executive to its Data Factory on Aug. 18 to discuss ways to accelerate the business with top executives from LG Group affiliates, including CEO Jae-cheol Ryu (류재철). The meeting came four days after the companies signed an MOU in the United States. LG Electronics aims to build a “data flywheel” system and become a total robotics solution provider.

Kakao wraps up second \'AI Rookie Camp\' for teenagers

Kakao has increased the share of hands-on projects in its AI talent development programme for teenagers outside the Seoul metropolitan area. Kakao said it held a graduation ceremony for the second \"AI Rookie Camp\" class on Aug. 14 at its Kakao AI Campus in Yongin, Gyeonggi province. The camp included 100 students from second-year middle school to first-year high school from regions including Gangwon, Gyeongsang, Jeolla, Jeju and Chungcheong.
